Shoot: Thompson Family on Seven Mile Beach (Family)

With the looming Hurricane Gustav, my shoot with the Thompson family was rescheduled for a little earlier in the week. My morning with Charlie, Leslie and Milana began with a small rain storm but did last long as I met the new family in Governors Harbour.

Milana is a beautiful baby girl, although she wasn't full of smiles first thing in the morning, we managed to get a few giggles out of her.

Out on the dock with daddy, and mommy standing close by.

It was early in the morning and already getting hot, so here we're trying to catch a little shade.

Peek A Boo.
Yummy, greens stuff.

We then took it to the beach in West Bay.

Taking a little walk down the beach as the rain was coming back.

The water was a little chilly, Milana seemed a little frustrated with the ocean.

Back to my favorite tree in Cayman.

We had a great time during shooting on Seven Mile Beach. Milana was a darling in her adorable pink outfits.

Shoot: Nicola and Milo in Snug Harbour (Pets)

Sunday afternoon Nicola just threw on a "simple red dress" and we took a drive around the neighborhood with Milo to take some photos.

At first Nicola was a little camera shy, though it didn't last very long.

Milo wasn't quite sure what was going on, but he knew I had treats in my pocket, so he was happy to play along.

Milo want a treat? That's all it took for him to run away from Nicola and end up in my lap.

Milo always comes back, full of kisses.

Hiding out in the bushes from the other dogs in the neighborhood.

They are the superstars of Palm Heights Drive.

A little behind the shoulder hello.

Milo stayed in the sand, while Nicola went down the pole.

Weeeeeeeee.

I wanted her to jump off the dock... but she wasn't having it.

Shoot: Trina Legg on Seven Mile Beach (Grad)

This shoot I did on Saturday with Trina. It was super hot and Trina was wearing a big and hot evening gown (she's such a great sport!).

In the first set of photos Trina is dressed like a modern day princess with her tiara, and princess pink dress. Are you ready?

We started out on the dock at the back of the house.

And then we took a short walk across the street to the empty lot across the street. Trina is sitting on the edge of a field of what I'd love to say was wild flowers, but is just a bunch of really high grass.

We found this really cute white picker fence in another abandoned lot up the street. Almost looks like some enchanted forest.

There is a construction site at the end of our block just in front of the park.

Isn't this every little girls fantasy? Playing in the park dressed like a princess in a beautiful dress? Look out below!

How can anyone resist sitting on a green dinosaur?

Swing anyone?

Hiding in a bamboo bush on the other end of the block.

We are now putting on the Ritz, and doing it with a little leg in new outfit.

It was getting really hot - close to noon; but at least we were still having fun.

We went inside to the Silver Rain Spa to cool off a little - unfortunately we didn't stay for any treatments.

In a past life Trina was a gymnast - although I would have though she did some tooth paste commercials - look at those pearly whites... no Photoshop adjustments needed there!

The afternoon was very hot, but it was also a lot of fun. Stay tuned to a few "fun" and candid photos from the afternoon.

Shoot: Wilcox Family in West Bay (Family)

On Sunday I met Shannon, Shawn and their beautiful baby girl Mave in West Bay very early in the morning to take some family photos. 9am and the heat was rising but you can't see the heat in these photos - this family is super cool.

A supermodel in the making.

Look at those big blue eyes!

While on location we took some photos next to my favorite tree in Cayman.

Mom trying to show the world how tall baby Mave is.

Wilcox family tree?
The water was just unbelievably vibrant that day - unreal.

Last but not least... just as baby Mave was starting to tell us in her own little way that she was done taking photos for the day.

Shoot: Franny at the Ritz Carlton (Grad)

Last week Franny and I went to the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman to take some portraits. Franny is on her way to Canada on Monday to start a new chapter in her life, she is starting college! To top it off, the day after this shoot, she went and chopped most of her hair off... FRANNY!

There was a really nice garden right on the canal with great colours that made a really nice back drop.

We were just fooling around by the bushes there were some golfers across the canal - I really liked the colour of these flowers, they just punch.

Franny had practiced all of her poses before we met, and felt right at home in the tunnel under the bypass. Can anyone say Victoria's Secret?

I wanted to get a few shots of Franny in the beautiful landscaping - and here she is cramming herself right into the bushes! Do anything for a great shot.

Here we are in the entrance to the Silver Rain Spa, it was fairly dark but the waterfalls and glassy background makes for an interesting photo.

Back outside, Franny was having some fun on the balcony going through the different poses that she's going to use when she becomes a model. I'm happy to be able to say I was her first photographer, and love this candid shot of her between poses.

Again - willing to climb through the rocks to get a good photograph. I still can't believe she cut her hair!

There will be more photos to come over the next few days.
